Being an artist...

Hi there blog readers and general wasters of time. I make my living by drawing pictures. I get paid to make pictures to go on clothes, help fill up the spaces between adverts in magazines, form part of adverts to sell stuff, and to be made into videos and animations. I also do less commercial stuff like publish my own books and put on art shows. I've been doing this personal, challenging, rewarding, exhausting and largely solitary work for ten years. I'm in need of a bit of fresh air in my routine - I go to my office, draw, paint, write emails and send out webshop orders - repeat. For the next year I'm going to be looking at new ways to use my creative energy to entertain myself and others. I'm not stopping doing work, but I want to try new things. Break all my bad habits.
