Secret Refugee City of 60,000 in Denmark
Copenhagen, Denmark. One of the World's most civilised cities. People wander along the elegant boulevards and commute on the world's best cycle path network. But tragedy is only 25kms away. While Danes enjoy some of the best standards of living in the World, a vast tented city of refugees numbering 60,000 people has formed on their doorstep. With no running water, precious little food, constant noise, dirt and poor sanitation - it's like a slice of the Third World right here in Old Europe. Something must be done to help these people, as Danes ignore the ever growing situation. The Danes have a word for this ability to ignore pressing social problems: 'roskilde' which translates as 'blind spot'.
